Damage effects.

Morning all. Does anyone have any web sites/tricks or ideas on how I could show a bullet hitting a solid wall. I have a few ideas.

What i am looking for is something like this.

1. (against the wall) A few sparks fly out.
2. Dust or wall residue explodes outwards.
3. A mark is left where the point of impact was.

Ive had an idea with a few things like childrens gun caps but i fear that it wont look convincing.
Any help would be appreciated.

You could always use a slingshot and pieces of chalk. Just practice your aim and it should hit the wall in a burst of dust.
